Why is my subscription type listed as "1 GB Free Open Edition?"

The 1GB Open Edition subscription type is a promotional account with a maximum of 1 GB storage.

Your account type will read "1 GB Free Open Edition," for one of three reasons:

1) You signed up for an 1 GB Free Open Edition account with ElephantDrive.

2) You started, but did not complete, the account registration process (you provided your email address and password but did not enter billing information or select a plan). To complete the account registration process, please login here and click the "Subscribe" link. Then choose your preferred account level. Once selected, you will be prompted to enter your billing information.

Note: Log out and back in to the website in order to view your new subscription type on the My Account tab.

3) You are a recipient of a file or folder shared by an ElephantDrive user. This means you have limited access - you will be able to retrieve the items shared with you, but you will not be granted access to the full feature set. At any time, you may subscribe to a paying account and enjoy the complete suite of functionality.
